The Skin Classic is an award-winning safe non-laser treatment that precisely removes minor skin irregularities, permanently, or semi-permanently. The Skin Classic uses direct high frequency to effectively dehydrate the skin irregularity with little downtime and no damage to surrounding tissue.  With a gentle tap, the device can successfully treat the area with very little discomfort and NO breaking of the skin.

This follow-up session is designed to monitor your healing progress after the initial treatment. I will assess your skin's recovery, offer personalized recommendations, and address any new spots (up to 5) that may have appeared. Follow-ups are typically scheduled 5-8 weeks after the initial session.

FAQ's

Healing Process: Over the next several days, your skin will begin its healing process. A small crust may form in the treated area, indicating that your skin is in repair mode. DO NOT PICK! Allow it to detach naturally. This process usually takes up to 7 - 14 days. Follow-Up Session: This follow-up session is designed to monitor your healing progress after the initial treatment. I will assess your skin's recovery, offer personalized recommendations, and treat any new spots (up to 5) that may have appeared. Follow-ups are typically scheduled 5-8 weeks after the initial session. What is home care for post treatment? Until your crust falls off, you’ll need to use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and 30 SPF (or higher) daily to prevent darkening. At night an antibiotic ointment can be used to speed healing. Do not use terrycloth or sponges until the crust has fallen off. In shower, avoid letting the water submerge the treated areas. If you exercise, be sure to keep excess sweat off the treated areas. What will my skin look like after the crust falls off? The skin may look lighter in color. pinkish or brownish for up to 6-8 weeks as the new skin goes through the complete healing cycle. Skin tone will begin to normalize with the use of proper home care and SPF. Can I wear makeup after? During the healing process the treated areas can be covered with mineral makeup but full coverage is not recommended. Please be very gentle in your makeup removal process. ​What should I avoid until after the treated areas fall off? Aggressive and corrective topicals should be avoided until after scabs have fallen off. Refrain use of tretinoin, retin-A, renova, differin, tazorac, avage, epiDuo, ziana and high-percentage AHA (glycolic or lactic acid) and BHA (salicylic acid) products. Who is not a candidate for Skin Classic? Pacemakers, pregnancy, breastfeeding, lupus, Accutane, active cold sore, melasma, moles, or any other dermatological skin condition out of my scope of practice.

What to expect at your visit:

*Step 1: Cleansing and Numbing** (Numbing cream is not used in 15 minute sessions) We will start by cleansing the treatment area to maintain the highest hygiene standards. Afterward, a numbing cream will be applied to ensure your comfort during the process. A second cleanse to remove any left over oils/dirt or residue. ​**Step 2: Procedure Begins** It’s time to eliminate those spots using a gentle tap of direct high frequency. This swift and accurate procedure is designed to ensure minimal discomfort while achieving outstanding results. **Immediate Effects:** After the service is finished, you might experience some swelling and redness in the treated region. This reaction is completely normal. Within 24 hours, both the swelling and redness should diminish.
